Nomination and Application Process

Each Program is responsible for collecting the nominations from the field and making the final ranked submission to the Office of Engineering and Construction Management. The Program is responsible for reviewing each application and affirming that:

  • The validity, merit, accuracy, and consistency of the information provided,
  • The accomplishment being recognized will withstand scrutiny inside and outside the Department, and
  • Only one application per award category is submitted. 

The following details the steps for submission:-

APPLICATION WORKSHEET

The application worksheet requires the use of Adobe Acrobat.  Please send the completed form to your Program Office Point of Contact. Questions may be referred to John.White2@hq.doe.gov.

FINAL SUBMISSION

Final submissions must be routed through and endorsed by the nominee's Program Office before submission to the Office of Engineering and Construction Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Secretarial Acquisition Executive is the awarding authority for the program. The Director, Office of Engineering and Construction Management will exercise general staff supervision over the program and will be responsible for its administration.
